Interesting story…they courted and hired me to be VP of Global Marketing for Rigzone, managing a $5MM annual marketing budget and team of five. Yes, this was a short stint, but I accomplished a lot: Refreshed the brand, developed an integrated marketing plan, implemented a marketing technology stack, developed content strategy and content executions, implemented lead generation campaigns, sourced and managed agency partners, redesigned website architecture, and developed new mobile app UX.

FASCINATING, RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME…NO REALLY!
‣ When I was 5 I was on a kids TV show and took over the program when the host gave me the mic and I wouldn’t return it.
‣ Celebrity Paul Rudd’s sister once worked for me selling radio ads.
‣ Angie Dickinson, 60’s and 70’s TV and movie star, once kissed me on the cheek.
‣ I created a Planet of the Apes mask when I was 13.
‣ I’ve played guitar with former NFL Fearsome Foursome member Rosey Grier (who also was an actor, minister and body guard for Bobby Kennedy during the 1968 presidential campaign). Although unable to prevent the assassination of Kennedy, Grier took control of the gun and subdued the shooter, Sirhan Sirhan.
‣ I’ve been inside Joliet State Prison…but it’s not what you think! I was part of a college theater group that used improv to help prisoners reform.
‣ I was a decent magician as a kid. If you ask, I may do an amazing illusion.
Powerpact October 2000 - March 2009. Managing Director What do you do when one of the largest broadcasting companies in the country lays you off with a year’s severance and allows you to take your Fortune 500 clients with you? That’s right, you form an agency with 40 other people. During my tenure I generated $20MM in billings as well as a nationally award-winning promotion, working with brands like P&G, Sony, General Mills, DreamWorks Pictures and The Weather Channel…just to shamelessly drop a few names.

Chancellor Marketing Group February 1996 - August 2000. Director of Sales and Promotions Working inside a major media company, I set up a promotional marketing department and worked with 90 sales people and a number of major brands including Shell, Chevy, Kraft and Volvo. A lot of revenue was generated and good times were had by all. Did I mention we had awesome parties?
