Karoo Calendar Principal’s Comments
Year 6 Graduation On Monday evening we enjoyed a fabulous evening celebrating the 2018 Year 6 Graduation. The Year 6 students were there to enjoy themselves and they certainly sparkled on the night. The dancing was superb! The reflection speeches highlighted the key events of the students’ years at Karoo and some of their personal stories. It was a lovely evening of celebration. Best wishes to them as they progress on to secondary school.
There were many nominations for all of the awards and we were pleased to make presentations to the following students:

Citizenship Awards On Monday at assembly the 2018 Citizenship Awards were presented by Mr Alan Tudge MP. Our congratulations to the following recipients:

School Leaders Congratulations to Natalie B ( 5B) and Tom M (5T) who have been selected as our 2019 School Captains. Year 5 students went through a rigorous selection process with speeches to peers, and then the short-listed students presented their speeches to the principal class. We look forward to Natalie and Tom being positive role models and leaders.

2019 School Structure and Staffing
Farewell We say goodbye to many students this year, some are relocating to a new home others choosing a new school and importantly our Year 6 students (48 families will no longer have an association with Karoo) - we wish you all the very best as you embark on new learning experiences. Karoo students are recognised as having exemplary behaviour and great learning ethics and I am sure you will demonstrate these in your new learning environment.
