Thank you for purchasing this product, we are sure that it will serve you for many years to come. To optimise the performance of this product, please read these operating instructions carefully to familiarise yourself with the basic operations of this unit. After you have read the instructions, please retain them for future reference. This unit has been tested at the factory before being shipped to you. To prevent or reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. To prevent a fire hazard, do not expose the unit to any naked flame sources. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or if it is unlikely to be used for long periods of time. When installing the unit, please ensure you leave enough space around the unit for ventilation. Slots and openings in the unit are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. To prevent fire hazard, the openings should never be blocked or covered. Always handle the power cable by the plug. Never pull out the plug by pulling on the cable. Never touch the power cable when your hands are wet as this could cause an electric shock. Do not tie a knot in the cable. The power cable should be placed such that it is not likely to be stepped on. A damaged power cable can cause a fire or give you an electrical shock. Check the power cord periodicaly, if you ever find that it is damaged, replace it before using the unit again. Contact your retailer for a replacement. The voltage of the available power supply differs according to country or region. Be sure that the power supply voltage of the area where this unit is to be used meets the required written on the unit.

The lightning flash symbol inside a triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence high voltage within the unit’s enclosure that may be of sufficient power to constitute a risk of electrical shock to persons. Caution: to prevent the risk of electric shock, do not attempt to open the unit. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. The exclamation mark inside a triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance. Any modification carried out on the unit may invalidate the unit’s warranty. If applicable, only use the stand, tripod or bracket specified or sold with the apparatus. Select the installation location of your unit carefully. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or locations subject to vibration and excessive dust. Do not use the unit where there are extremes in temperature (below 41ºF / 5ºC or exceeding 95ºF / 35ºC). Unpacking and safety: Please unpack your new product carefully, your new product should reach you in perfect condition. Please check that no damage has occurred during transit. If any damage is found, do not operate your unit. Please contact the retailer you purchased it from immediately. If there is any damage to the mains cable do not use the device. Always disconnect the unit from the mains supply when carrying out any servicing or cleaning of the unit. The serial number for this equipment should be located on the rear or underside of the unit. Please make a note of this number as you will need it for your warranty, it is a good idea to keep a copy of the serial number for your own records.

Description of functions Control unit

1. OPEN/CLOSE: It opens and closes the CD tray. 2. JOG WHEEL: Use the jog wheel to adjust the speed to match with the other playing track. It is also used for the SEARCH and SCRATCH functions. 3. CD/USB: Press to switch the play source between USB and CD. * It only works only when the playback is paused. Press track skip button to switch the playing source between CD, USB 1 and USB 2. Then press CD/USB button again to confirm your selection. When playing from only one USB source it is possible to load track to deck A and deck B from the one USB source 4. SCRATCH: To activate Scratch function. 5. TIME: This button switches the display between remaining time, elapsed playing time, and total remaining time. 6. CONTINUE/SINGLE CONTINUE: The unit continues to play the tracks until the end. When changing to the next track manually or automatically, the main cue will also renew to the new track. SINGLE: The unit plays a single track only. When the current track ends, it changes to the next track but stops and returns to the main cue of the new track. 7. MEMO/AUTO: Press it for memorizing Hot Cue or activating Auto Loop. 8. Hot Cue: This unit will allow you to play from 2 cue points instantly. This can be set while playing the track or in pause mode using the jog wheel. To set CUE memory: Press MEMO first and then the desired CUE button. The CUE button will flash and when the CUE button stays on the cue point is set. Pressing the cue button at any time will start the track for the set cue point, setting more cue points will allow you to jump between the set cue points instantly. 9. DISPLAY: The display is used to see which functions are playing and selected. 10. FOLDER: Press this button to switch between MP3 folder and MP3 file. Select a folder by pressing this button again. *In MP3 File mode, Total-Track shows the total MP3 files in the folder. *In MP3 Folder mode, Total-Track shows the total folders in the CD or in the USB storage device. *When you use a hard drive as your USB play source, holding this button down for 2 seconds will jump to partitions.

11. PROG: The maximum number of tracks that can be edited is 99. PROG has three views – Program Editing, Program Track Viewing, and Program Play. Start PROG-Edit: In pause mode, press this button to edit a program. This view is called PROG Editing. The display MM:SS:FF will show “P-xx” and then “xx” will flash. Select a track by pressing SKIP (for CD or MP3) or Folder-SKIP (only MP3) and then press the PROG button to store it. Repeat the same process for each track and finally press the PROG button again to finish editing a program. The unit will go into PROG Track Viewing mode and allow you to review each track by pressing SKIP. Play PROG: Press PLAY/PAUSE to play the program. PROG will flash in the display. Exit PROG Play/Edit: When the PROG playback is paused, pressing the PROG button for two seconds will return to normal playback. Once returned to normal playback, pressing the PROG button will enter the program again and you can continue the track editing from the last PROG track number. In PROG Editing view, pressing the PROG button for 2 seconds will wipe out the PROG list and return to normal playback. 12. PITCH: Press it to switch the pitch range. It will switch between 8%, 16%, and 100% and off mode. 13. PITCH CONTROL SLIDER: By moving the pitch control slider, you can adjust it between minimum (up) and maximum (down) to match the beat of the two playing units. 14. RELAY: Press it to activate this function. When one unit is in play mode, and the other unit is in pause mode; pause the playing unit, the other unit will automatically start to play. 15. SEARCH: Press the search button to activate fast search mode. Use Jog Wheel to do the fast search forward and backward. 16. CUE: The cue function allows the CD to be played from a memorized point. 17. SEAMLESS LOOP: There is A, B, and RELOOP buttons. The A button is the start point of the LOOP. The end point is button B. Press the A and B button to set up the point and start the loop playback automatically. The loop lights up on the display and the three LEDs will flash. Press B again to exit the LOOP playback. The RELOOP button will return to the A of the loop playback and continues playing. Also, if you want to return to the loop playback after exiting, you can press the RELOOP button. Change the start and end points by pressing the A and B buttons again. Auto loop There is also an auto loop function to assist in obtaining seamless loops. Press and hold the MEMO button, then using the jog wheel to adjust the loop recording range from 1/32~32/1. The memo button will stay illuminated and this will show that the auto loop function is ready, to start the loop press the A button at the desired point and the loop recording will begin and automatically record only for the preset time you chose, this is measured in bars e.g. 1/1 equals one bar or 4 beats the recorded loop is still editable using the loop edit function 18. PLAY/PAUSE: Pressing this button will cause the operation to change between PLAY and PAUSE modes. 19. PITCH BEND: Using this function, the speed can be changed to keep up with the other playing one. 20. TRACK/TRIM: This button selects the track to be played and can skip forward or backward one track. *TRIM: In loop playback, press it to enlarge or shorten the loop length double. 21. BPM/TAP: Use it to switch between Auto BPM and Manual BPM. In manual mode, press it with the beat to get the BPM value. The value will calculate and change by 4 times tapping. 22. MT: When this function is activated, the key of the song will be locked even though the pitch fader is adjusted. 23. CONNECTION PORTS: Connect from this port to the main unit. The port has to be connected correctly to its relative port and both ports (A&B) have to be connected to activate all functions.

Main unit

1. DISC TRAY: It’s for placing a disc on the tray. 2. OPEN/CLOSE: Press to load or eject the disc. Each press will open or close the disc tray. 3. USB Port A & B: Connect a USB storage device to load audio files. It supports MP3 files format only. USB A: When playing the audio file from USB A, the USB text will illuminate stably on the display. USB B: When playing the audio file from USB B, the USB text will flash on the display. The maximum current of each USB port provides 500mA only. If you connect a hard drive which needs the current more than 500mA, using a duo USB connector cable to connect two USB ports to get the sufficient power supply. If you connect a hard drive which needs the current more than 1A, please get the power from external power supply. 4. POWER ON/OFF: This function turns the unit on and pressing the button again turns the unit off. 5. LINE OUT: The audio from each CD player outputs from these jacks. Connect to the line input of a mixer. 6. FADER START: This connector is used for connecting to FADERSTART wire remote control unit. 7. TACT-LOCK option: Select the type of switch in the mixer for FADERSTART wire remote control. 8. CONNECTION PORTS: Connect from this port to the control unit. The port has to be connected correctly to its relative port and both ports (A&B) have to be connected to activate all functions.

LED display

TOTAL TRACK - The number of tracks that are in the CD or folder.

– The unit is in play mode CUE – This indicates that a cue has been memorized. CD – Indicates the unit is in CD mode. USB – Indicates the unit is in USB mode. USB is static when reading USB A and flashing when reading USB 2. SINGLE – Shows when the unit is set to play only one track. Single mode CONT – Shows when the unit is set to play all tracks continuously. ELAPSE – Shows the time as it is taking place. TOTAL – Shows how much time is left on the full CD. It’s only for CD format. REMAIN – Shows how much time is left on a particular track. MT – Lights up when performing Master Tempo function. RELOOP – Lights up when performing the loop function M/S/F – Minutes, seconds, and frames PITCH – Pitch value shows and changes with the pitch slider movement. BPM – Beats per minute of the particular song. When it is flashing, it’s in manual mode. When it’s in auto mode, it will illuminate statically
