THE HILLSBORO CHRISTIAN

A Week of Baptisms

Praise the Lord! This past week was a

tremendous week as a number of peo-

ple were baptized into Christ.

The celebration of “new life” began

when Dan Fauber had the privilege of

baptizing his 89-year-old aunt, who had

feared that it was too late for her. Her

heart was full of joy that she was able

t o r e s p o n d t o t h e L o r d ’ s

command.

On Friday evening Alisha Zink was immersed into Christ by her husband, Andrew. The entire family

had gathered at the church building for

the joyous celebration.

The icing on the cake was the phenom-

enal week of Adventure 345 at Butler

Springs Christian Camp, that concluded

with 18 baptisms. Butler Springs is a part

of our mission outreach and a number of

our own 3rd thru 5th graders were camp-

ers at this week and contemplating their

own obedience to Christ.

We rejoice with all of these, along with

their families. May they grow in the

grace and knowledge of our Lord and

Savior, Jesus Christ.

GUEST WORSHIP LEADER SUNDAY

Logan Bray, a sophomore at Cincinnati Christian University will be leading us in worship this coming Lord’s Day. Logan is a current member of the campus worship team at CCU and majoring in Biblical Studies. His intention is to pursue becoming a pastor once he graduates. Logan has been involved in church and ministry virtually his entire life. He began volunteering at the Vineyard in Cincinnati with the K-1 Tech Team in fifth grade and joined the student worship team when he was in the eighth grade. Beyond his church involve-ment, Logan grew up in Cleves, a small-town right on the corner where Ohio Kentucky, and Indiana meet, graduating from Taylor High School where he was the goalie for the lacrosse team, in the jazz band, audition choir, and was in drama (both in pit and on cast). We are excited to welcome Logan this Sunday.
