Jose Pineiro joined The Apollo Group as a Software Developer in 1988 and was responsible for developing a new requisition system for cruise ships and the year 2000 “y2k” conversion. He was promoted as IT Manager and assigned the duty to develop and implement a new HR system with the help of new technology. In 2005, Jose Pineiro was promoted as the Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies and was assigned the responsibility of the development and maintenance of various software applications including, Order Processing and the HR system.

Jose Pineiro is a skilled IT professional with expertise in developing software applications, operational efficiencies, technological improvements and managing all phases of software development and implementations. He possesses in-depth understanding of Microsoft software development technologies for web and windows: VB.Net, C#, XML, HTML, DHTML, ASP, J Query, CSS, RPG and COBOL. In addition, he also possesses strong knowledge of Microsoft operating system and office tools: Windows Servers 2000-2012, Exchange Server, Windows Desk OS, Office Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and Project, mobile and cloud based devices and applications.

He was promoted as IT Manager and assigned the duty to develop and implement a new HR system with the help of new technology. In 2004 the HR system was fully implemented onboard the ship and shore side, that resulted in improved productivity and saved a crucial amount of money in labor, travel arrangements for the crew and freight charges as all crew documents were processed electronically by the new system.
In 2005, Jose Pineiro was promoted as the Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies and was assigned the responsibility of the development and maintenance of various software applications including, Order Processing and the HR system. With his dedicated and serious efforts, he was able to earn the respect and confidence of his team members and upper management. In addition, he acquired a great deal of experience in utilizing technology solutions to contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
