Jose Pineiro is a highly skilled, talented IT professional with more than 25 years of experience. He is expert in software, application development, and has good understanding of system analysis, database design, project management, & development technologies. He led a software development team, and also carried out complete system implementation such as training, documentation, etc. Other than this, also taught at Garces College for 3 years.

Jose is a qualified professional who holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science. He has good working knowledge of all phases of software development. He is proficient in different Microsoft web and windows technologies such as visual studio 2003-2012, C#, XML, VB.Net, Java script, J query, HTML, DHTML, ASP, SQL Server 2000-2013, FoxPro, Windows Desk OS, CSS, RPG and COBOL.

Technical Skills:

In addition, he also has good understanding of Microsoft operating system and office tools including Windows Servers 2000-2012, Exchange Server, Windows Desk OS. Office Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and Project, mobile and cloud based devices and applications.

Jose Pineiro started his professional journey with The Apollo Group in 1988 by joining Apollo Ship Chandlers, Inc. At this company, his hard work and dedication resulted in increase in business growth of the company. Over time, he earned a strong background in different software development, database design, and system analysis areas.

Professional Career:

When he joined Apollo Ship Chandlers, he was assigned the duty of developing a new requisition system for cruise ships. The project was completed in December 2000, following which he was promoted to IT Manager & was charged with the implementation of a new HR system. It was a challenging task, but he worked with dedication and successfully implemented the system by the end of 2004. This system was significant in saving the company’s lots of money in labor, travel arrangements for the crew and freight charges.

In 2005, he was promoted to the Director of Information and Technology, and handled operations of all Apollo related companies. Responsibilities included development and implementation of software applications like order processing, HR system, etc.

Jose Pineiro is a fun loving person who believes that life should be lived to the fullest. When free from work, he enjoys boating, scuba diving, fishing, and jogging. He keeps himself up-to-date with the new advancements and latest technology trends by reading technology books.
