Jose Pineiro is a diligent software developer and is serving Apollo Group through his IT skills.

He has served various companies of Apollo Group, such as, Discovery Cruise Line (1988 to 2010), Ship Chandlers (1988 to present), Apollo Global Catering (2013 to present), and Europe USA Travel (1988 to present).

Through working with different companies, he has earned experience in utilizing technology solutions to improve corporate efficiencies and have also contributed to the growth and success of the organization.

In 2005, he was promoted as The Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies, and is presently working on the same designation.

His responsibility is to develop and maintain the various software applications, including Order Processing and the HR system. The Apollo seems to be a small dynamic operation, but is complex in terms of logistics and this was a key position to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.

Before serving as The Director, Jose Pineiro served Apollo Group as an IT Manager for 5 years. As an IT Manager, he was responsible for developing and implementing the new HR system using a new technology.

Besides executing the HR system fully in 2004, he also led a team of developers.

The new HR system resulted in improving the productivity and saving the company a significant amount of money in labor, travel arrangements for the crew and freight charges.

Jose Pineiro possesses comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft software development technologies for web and windows including, Visual Studio 2003-2012, VB.Net, C#, XML, HTML, DHTML, ASP, Java script, J Query, VB Scripts, CSS, SQL Server 2000-2012, FoxPro, RPG and COBOL.

He also has understanding of Microsoft operating system and office tools such as Windows Servers 2000-2012, Exchange Server, Windows Desk OS. Office Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and Project, mobile and cloud based devices and applications.
