  • 1. Jack Johnson In Between Dreams Digipak This digipak uses a yellow background with a designThe artist's name is at the top right corner in black, this text is with a tree in black to contrast. This use of contrast is very the largest on the page and is the first thing you read when you eye-catching and makes people more likely to stop and look see this digipak. The album name is in white, which is difficult at it in a shop... Also, the yellow background helps conveyto read on a white background, this could be to make you stop the easy listening nature of the album with its mellow colourand concentrate on the CD to find out more about it...The names of all the tracks on the CD are listed on the back cover of the digipak, this is seen in almost all examples of digipaks... The design used on the front cover includes a silhouette of the artist with his guitar, this shows that his music is more important than his image and is a popular convention of the acoustic easy listening genre and can also be seen on the cover of his album 'On And On'.This contrastswith what youwould expectto find on thecover of a pop album as you would The 'special edition' sticker on the cover gives the owner abe most likely to find an airbrushedfeeling of exclusivity as it is more of a collectors item and theclose-up of the artist, as the image is sticker a the top left indicating of the bonus tracks makes thismore important to artists in that genre CD appeal to the loyal fans of the artist and gives a morepersonal connection with the music than an internet download

This includes lyrics to all the songs and the fact that it is in a booklet instead of printed on the inside of the digipak again helps to show the easy-listening element of the music. The image used on the left is of the artist holding his guitar in front of him, with part of his face covered...
