CHRISTMAS CAROLING & PLAY
Tonight, the church will be going out to Christmas carol to some of
our shut-ins! This is a fun annual tradition that really puts everyone in
the Christmas spirit. We will meet at the church at 5:00 pm and go
in the bus and afterwards we will come back to the church for hot
chocolate! At 7:00 pm, the play, “Star in the Night”, will be
presented by the Liberty Players. You don’t want to miss this moving
play about how the spirit of Christmas can truly change lives. Plan
now to be a part of our caroling party and then stay and enjoy a
great play!
IT IS CHRISTMAS!!I CHRIST IS HERE!!!
What a wonderful time of the year. . . Giving and receiving gifts,
making new friends and renewing old friendships. . . God gave us the
greatest gift ever when He brought Jesus into this world to be our
Savior and to die on the Cross for our sins so that we could have life
eternal. There is no greater gift. Please consider giving to our Lottie
Moon Christmas Offering so that this gift of love can continue to be
given all around the world. Thank you for your giving to our
international missionaries. Also, don’t forget to return your banks by
December 28 so your change can be included in this year’s offering.
CHRISTMAS POST OFFICE
Today is the deadline for dropping your Christmas cards in the big
red box. We appreciate your donations toward the Lottie Moon
Christmas offering. Please be sure to check the table in the lobby
and pick up your Christmas cards when you leave today.
WHITE CHRISTMAS
Today is the last day we will be collecting canned food for our White
Christmas boxes. Look for the boxes marked “White Christmas.” The
boxes will be delivered to needy families a few days before
Christmas. Thanks for your donations.
POINSETTIAS
If you placed a Poinsettia in the church this Christmas you may take
it home today after the worship service and enjoy! Thank for
donating to beautify our sanctuary for the season!
YOUTH SUNDAY
Be sure to join us on Sunday, December 28, for Youth Sunday at LBC!
The youth will be in charge of both the 8:30 and 11:00 am worship
services. The children’s ensemble will perform. We will have youth
greeters and ushers, special music from our teenagers and our Pastor
of Youth will preach for both services. Please mark your calendar for
this special day!
