The 2018 IFBB Professional League Alicante Pro will take place the same weekend as the IFBB Professional Pro Quali-fier, Ben Weider Worldwide Classic Spain on October 20-21.

Ben Weider WWC Spain is considered one of the

most important event of Fitness and Bodybuilding

in Europe. Beside traditional men’s bodybuilding,

our amateur version will also include men’s classic

bodybuilding, men’s physique as well as Figure,

women’s physique, women’s bodybuilding,

Fitness and bikini and now 15 Novice new

categories– full spectrum of the spectacular

physique sports performed in the amateur

nowadays.

This time, the 2018 Ben Weider WWC Spain will

be held in Alicante

It will be an amazing weekend, where the best

athletes will meet with the aim to achieve the

such desired professional card awarded by the

IFBB PRO LEAGUE.

This Pro Qualifier Contest will be open to ALL

amateur athletes worldwide regardless of their

federation affiliations.

The only contests the IFBB Professional League

will recognize for Professional Status are the Pro

Qualifiers associated with the IFBB Professional

League; no other contests will be acknowledged.

The IFBB Pro League Pro Qualifiers are the ONLY

way to compete on the IFBB Professional League

stage, including the OLYMPIA.

In addition, the most outstanding companies in

the sector will have the opportunity to present all

their novelties at the EXPO that will take place in

the Alicante Trade Fair Institution (IFA) complex, at

the same time as the competition.

Alicante.

Alicante, or Alacant, both the Spanish and

Valencian being official names, is a city and

port in Spain on the Costa Blanca, the capital

of the province of Alicante and of the comarca

of Alacantí, in the south of the Valencian

This Competition is open to all athletes and federations

worldwide. Ben Weider WWC is an open contest. The

number of athletes to participate is unlimited.

All posing music must be on an audio CD only. The posing music must

also be at the start of the CD. Each competitor must affix his name on

the CD for easy identification. The use of profane, vulgar and offensive

language is strictly prohibited in the posing music.

Posing suits must be standard men’s swimsuit with at least ½ rear coverage. Suits must meet acceptable standards of taste and decency. Thongs are prohibited.

Posing suits must be one color. Fringe, wording, sparkle or fluorescents is prohibited.

Competitors must not alter the fit of the posing suit by hiking it up in the back or by pulling up the sides during Front and Rear Lat Spreads.

The following is prohibited while onstage:

Judges are looking for the competitor with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience.

PRESENTATION

Competitor numbers must be worn on the left side of the suit bottom at all timeswhile onstageEach competitor, in numerical order, walks onstage and performs their “ModelWalk” (personal preference). The “Model Walk” is described as follows:Walk to the center of the stage, stop and do a front stance, then a full turn anddo a back stance, then turn to the front again and face the judges. Length oftime allowed is 30 seconds.

JUDGING AND SCORE

The Presentation and Comparisons are scored 100% using the following criteria: 1. Balance and shape 2. Overall physical appearance including complexion, skin tone, poise and presentation.

3. Competitors are not required to use the full 60 seconds.

The judging panel is determined by the IFBB Professional League.

EU-country citizens do not need to obtain a visa. All other countries should consult the Spanish Embassy in their country to determine if they need a visa. All National Federationscould ask for an Invitation letter either to the Championship Organizer or IFBB Professional League. The invitation letter does not mean you are granted your visa. IFBB Professional League and Championship organizer are not responsible of attendants visas.

An athlete, who requested and received an invitation from the IFBB Professional League Head Office or the Organizing, Committee of an IFBB Professional League sanctioned eventfor visa purposes and used this visa to unlawful stay in the host country or any other country, will be subjected to the disciplinary proceedings and measures.

Camera and/or videotape equipment shall be strictly prohibited in the backstage and/or dressing room areas except when used by IFBB Professional League-authorized media persons and, in any event, these devices shall be strictly prohibited in the dressing room area.
