Tank-silo-pallet weighing
Bizerba load cells and load cell supports enable time-saving entry
weighing of large containers and provide a reliable check of delivery
volumes. Pit scales are used for weighing pallets. All are integrated
with the company networks via the Bizerba WM weighing module
or the Bizerba ST weighing terminal.
Random sampling
In conjunction with the Bizerba ST weighing terminal and static
scales _statistics.BRAIN provides transparent incoming and supplier
control (statistical quality control, or SQC). The software tool for
collecting and analysing weighing results makes reporting on
suppliers’ reliability as easy as can be.
Manual marking
The Bizerba GLP table printer lets you mark delivered goods for the
internal supply chain (tracking and tracing) – also with RFID labels
for automatic warehouse log-in/out.
Quality control
Bizerba inspection systems don’t miss even the smallest detail.
The Bizerba MD-SA metal detector reliably searches out metallic
impurities in raw materials. The Bizerba XRE x-ray technology even
discovers undesirable non-metallic objects, such as glass and stones.

Random sampling
At the Bizerba ST weighing terminal users are guided intuitively
through the entire process. In addition to weighing on the static
scales, further quality parameters can be captured (e.g. temperature,
product quality, packaging seal). Fill volumes and other manufactu-
ring parameters can be tracked and optimised on the basis of the
reports generated by _statistics.BRAIN (SQC/SPC control).
100% process control and feedback
The fill weight of packaged goods can be altered directly after the
filler or portioner to reduce giveaways. If the Bizerba checkweigher
identifies a gradual divergence from the mean, it reports to
_statistics.BRAIN. The fill volume can then be corrected rapidly by
means of feedback parameters (closed loop trend control).
Product inspection
The Bizerba XRE x-ray technology is a proven way of detecting
non-metallic contaminants in sealed packs (e.g. glass splinters,
plastic, stones, bones). Together with metal detectors it offers
comprehensive security. Bizerba VIS also automatically controls all
visual parameters (e.g. packaging, seal, colour, barcode). Reports
from _statistics.BRAIN also support all quality management systems
and auditing processes.
Formula
The Bizerba iS 70 touch display shows all the steps in ingredient
management in a way that is intuitively understood. Finished
mixtures are marked by Bizerba GLP with recordable track and trace
information. The Bizerba ST Ex weighing terminal is used in dusty
areas with an explosion risk.

The Bizerba checkweighers CWE and CWE Dry capture all package
weight data in accordance with national regulations – and rejects
them if necessary. In addition to weight, integrated Bizerba inspec-
tion systems also control for other quality parameters for the SQC/
SPC control in _statistics.BRAIN.
Random sampling in line with legislation
Compliance with statutory regulations can be verified at the
Bizerba weighing terminal ST with a random sampling plan. As well
as weighing on static scales it can also capture the temperature,
product quality and package seal as a basis for analysis with
_statistics.BRAIN.
Price labelling
Print on demand with Bizerba GLM-I maxx reduces the number of
label types required and the capital employed in holding stocks.
This flexible labelling technology is adapted for the most diverse
packages, surfaces and positions.

Connected to _statistics.BRAIN the CWL Eco in-motion scales make
internal production stages transparent. By capturing fill volumes it
enables the flow of goods and materials to be managed at very high
speed – even if products are fed in chaotically. Switching takes place
automatically via scanner with CaseCodeSystem (CCS).
Product marking
Bizerba labelling systems for warehouse and distribution logistics can
apply labels to cartons, boxes, sacks and buckets of the most diverse
materials, sizes and shapes by all common application methods. This
process is accomplished automatically with Bizerba GLM logistics
labellers and manually with the Bizerba GLP table-top printer on labels
up to DIN A5.
RFID tagging
Whether its single packages, cartons or pallets; with Bizerba
RFID labels you can identify goods individually or in bulk –
without contact, without line of sight and even over longer
distances. Special Bizerba printers process them in a variety of
formats.
