How did we attract/ address our audience

At first we used the image of our company name and a logo of sorts that features a very dark setting which will signify tension and some violence leaving the audience who enjoy mystery and suspense wanting more before the actual film has begun.

We then began the film showing our protagonist as a young male, as our target audience is mostly younger people they will be able to relate more with the protagonist more than older audience or older characters.

We then used quick cuts between past and present leaving the audience confused at the entire plot and which time period they are watching. Although we did make it more obvious by applying filter to make the scenes set in the past more aged, the audience will still have to focus more to comprehend the stories of both the past and present as they are shot for entirely different effects but still have quick transitions between the two, this adds to the enigma code as some of the target audience may not be able to fully comprehend the scenes together the way they are and adds to the enigma code as it will leave them suspenseful as to what is happening and what it will lead to.

We then shot a scene in a point of view, we did this to make the audience feel a part of the scene and being chased by the killer, this will help to build tension in the audience and the suspense overall.

Finally to film in this scene, we wanted to make the audience change from feeling like the victim to the murderer as the point of view shot from the killer's perspective taking the life of the female victim will have a uneasy affect on the audience.
