Highly-skilled and experienced French hotelier, Brice Borin, has been named as theGeneralManagerofMövenpick’s firstproperty intheMaldives,which isduetoopen in2018.NestledonaprivateislandinthestunningNoonuAtoll,MövenpickResort&SpaKuredhivaruMaldiveswillfeature105luxuryvillas,allwiththeirownprivateswimmingpool,includingover-wateraccommodation.
Bricehasalmost30years'experience inthehospitality industry,morethan20ofwhichhavebeenspentintheAsiaPacificregion.MostrecentlyhewasGMoftheSooriBali,amemberoftheLeadingHotelsoftheWorld(LHW),andhewillnowreturntothecountrywhere he previously spent two years as GM of The RegentMaldives and opened threepropertiesforAnantara.
In Sri Lanka, George Koumendakos has been appointed General Manager of theMövenpickHotelColombo.ADutchnationalfluentinthreelanguages,Georgeisahighly-respectedhotel professionalwith almost 30 years' experience in 11 countries, includingmorethanadecadewithInterContinentalHotelsGroup(IHG).
