TVP Solar is pleased to announce the results of the solarshyassisted airshyconditioning (SAC)system installation commissioned in November 2014 at Saudi Aramcos headquarters inDhahran Saudi Arabia TVPs highshyvacuum flat MTshyPower panels supply fluid at atemperature of up to 180degC to drive a doubleshyeffect absorption chiller to produce cold airfor Saudi Aramcos AlshyMunirah Community Library

TVP Solars CEO Mr Piero Abbate said TVP Solar is proud to support Saudi Aramco inthis promising field of solar air cooling With our MTshyPower panels TVP can help reducethe high energy consumption related to electric air conditioning in Saudi Arabiasubstituting oil use with solar

The solar panels produced an average daily thermal energy output of 2 kWh per m ofactive panel area The output was during the current winter weather period with anaverage solar input of just 5 kWhm without any cleaning of the panels since installationSolar energy contributes up to 65 of the chiller energy needs during daylight hours Thesolar field has the potential to supply over 815 kWh m per year This field test isplanned for a total duration of 18 months
