Hi Kinder families! Here is the planning schedule for Week 5 (April 29- May 5). I added info on how to use Scholastic “Let’s Find Out” online. This is an excellent resource for reading, science, and social studies. Feel free to use it as much as you’d like along with the assignments I have included. For our math work this week, we will use both HappyNumbers.com and the workbooks. Work will be due at the end of the day Tuesday each week (or Wednesday morning). If you need more time, just let me know, I am flexible. As always, you can reach me at my email: [email protected], the Bloomz app, or I am happy to set up a phone conference. Thank for all you are doing to help your child grow during this difficult time. Do what school work that you can and stay healthy. Missing all of my kindergarteners everyday!!

Choose 3 sight words & write a complete sentence for each. You can use your own paper. (Parents: you can dictate a sentence for your child out loud using the sight word or have them help you come up with one that you can dictate to them)
Would you rather have a dog or a cat? Use your own writing paper to make a book or the paper attached to write 3 or more sentences about your favorite season. Be sure to tell WHY (You can work on this for 2 days-‐ today and Mon)
Free writing or use this day to catch up Write a story, how to writing, or your opinion about anything you want! Your choice. Use your own paper, try typing it on the computer, create a book, or make copies of the writing paper attached.

Hi K families! Here is the full and final list of sight words. Please practice by having your child read them and write them in sentences. You can even cut them into flash cards or glue to index cards for extra practice. If your child can read them fluently, have them practice spelling them from memory (like a spelling “test”). Thank you!
