For Kaufhof, presentation and demonstration on the store floors is the winning formula. This formula is a complex and harmonious fusion of accessi-bility, reliability, comfort, structure and appearance.

The results of the efforts deserved their own window dis-play- an exclusive segment with the latest collection of Hans Boodt mannequins in Galeria Kaufhof and during the Euroshop fair in Dusseldorf.Galeria Kaufhof’s booth at the Euroshop in February will fea-ture their collection on Hans Boodt mannequins boasting the collaboration between the two houses.

COLLECTIONCASUAL

The casual collection has been anatomically restyled. After a yearlong investigation by our Market Research & Trend forecast-ing department and requests from clients, we decided to design a smaller fitting male model for the Casual Collection. He rep-resents the young Alpha-Male in his mid-twenties.

Above you can see some images of the 9 new poses available in realistic and available in abstract style matte black. There is of course the possibility to have the color customized upon request.

CUSTOM.“FIT TO MEASURE THINKING” MENTALITY

Every brand has their own Identity: Logos, Letterheads, Inte-rior Decoration, Colors, and Typeface. Every brand has their own Corporate Mix: Personality, Behavior, Symbols and Communi-cation. Every brand has their own Vocation: Mission, Values and Objectives.

Hans Boodt Mannequins recognizes this and knows how to develop a mannequin that fits seamlessly into an existing concept. After fully understanding what the client desires the process begins- from zero. The preliminary stage of development begins with a moodboard; a compilation of the ideas, insights and inspira-tions. From there, the first sketches are born.

Custom Made Products by Hans Boodt Mannequins then takes over and elevates the design to a higher level. This feature allows the creation of distinctive elements to compliment a design; a way to highlight particular traits and/or characteristics of a product. Custom Made Products has become Hans Boodt Mannequins’ specialty. It’s what Hans Boodt Mannequins knows how to do best; conceive distinctive products to highlight the client’s point of sale that is balanced between cost and quality.

The “Fit to Measure” mentality provides clients with the whole process, from start to finish; moodboard, keywords, materials, poses, faces, accessories, sampling, feedback, adjusting, or-dering, producing, delivering, evaluation and after sales. This is what Hans Boodt Mannequins passionately do; they make it and customize it for you. Personally.

INTERVIEW.Hans Boodt: First of all, thank you for this interview! I know your schedules are very tight and your spare time very limited.

Casual Female: Of course!!! Any time for you, I am a very big fan of all your work. This is a really exciting opportunity.Casual Male: Oh, absolutely. We are happy to be here!

Hans Boodt: Thanks. So, it seems like it has been a great beginning of the year for both you. How has 2011 been so far?

Casual Male: Yes, it really has. 2011 has been very hectic so far. We both have been booked for many runway shows and fashion shoots and it seems that it will be a very busy and productive year to come. But don’t get me wrong, I really love being this busy.

Hans Boodt: Well, your professional lives are no secret! But what about your free time, don’t you like to take it easy?

Casual Male: I think it is very important to keep a balance. Too much of anything is not healthy and in order to continue doing what we love, we have to find stability. We make sure we find time to relax and do what we love.

Hans Boodt: Like what?

Casual Male: Sometimes just tak-ing the bicycle around Amsterdam or having a picnic at the park. Any-thing that feeds the Soul as they say.Casual Female: Having a glassof wine at the Westerpark or just soaking up the sun is re-ally a highlight. I also definitely like the Amsterdam culture of the museas. There is always something new to see and there are so many of them. And of course a bit ofshopping therapy around the “nine streets” of Amsterdam!

Hans Boodt: You mentioned Dusseldorf. So your next trip: will that be business or pleasure?

Casual Male: A bit of both actual-ly. We will be featured at the Eu-roshop trade fair but we will also make some time to visit the city. Go shopping and have some dinner at the most popular restaurants.Casual Female: Definitely. Last time we really didn’t have the chance

and I really love visiting European cities. Something we like doing on our spare time as well actually. We also join the Hans Boodt team at saturday night.

Hans Boodt: Hence the excitement for Dusseldorf I suppose!

Casual Female: [Laughing] Yup! Dance parties and staying up is an indulgence! We don’t like it every night, but when we want to go out dancing, we don’t want to be told when the party is over.Casual Male: [Takes out his iPad] Here, these are some of the pic-tures from last time.

Hans Boodt: It looks like you had a lot of fun! And I see you already have an iPad. I thought there was a waiting list!

Casual Male: Well, I was clever enough to pre-order mine. But the waiting list was a stunt I think. I don’t think they had one.

Hans Boodt: So I take it you are both very tech-savvy?

Casual Male: Well, I love Apple products. They have really made my professional life easier. My sched-ule is crazy so it’s like I have a PA.Casual Female: Oh come on! Not only professionally. Imean of course they have simpli-fied our life, but I think it has brought a lot of entertainment as well.

Hans Boodt: So the latest gadgets are a must have?

Casual Male: Definitely. No doubt.Casual Female: And a great pair of heels!

Hans Boodt: For dancing right?

Casual Female: [Laughing] Yes. But you never know when they might come in handy!

Hans Boodt: Well, hope you have a good and successful time in Dusseldorf with all the other colleagues!
