All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, andblessings and peace be upon our Prophet and upon hisfollowers and companions. The honored Ka'bah is called "the Ancient House".It is the focus of Muslim hearts in every corner of theglobe. Toward it are directed their faces and hearts, humbly reverent in prayer to Allah alone, five times a day.Muslims have traveled to the Ancient House from everypart of the earth to perform their religious rites andperform tawaf around the Ka'bah since the time it wasbuilt by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to be thefirst house for the worship of Allah - where Allah would beworshipped according to guidance and true vision with apure belief free from superstition and erroneousconcepts. -Allah, the Exalted, said:" Indeed, the first house [of worship] established for mankindwas that at Bakkah [Le., Makkah], - blessed and a guidance forthe worlds. In it are clear signs [as] Maqam Ibrahim. Andwhoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the. people is a pilgrimage (hajj) to the House - for whoever is ableto find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves [by refusal] then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds;"
