Other entities offering vocational guidance and counselling in Romania:
-the Probation Centres (under the Ministry of Justice)- career counselling for persons with disabilities-the guidance units in the private sector

Master degree studies in Guidance and Counselling are offered by •the biggest public universities in Romania (Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, Iasi), •Private higher education institutions, as the University Titu Maiorescu Bucharest. •Students can choose the CREDIS Department within the Bucharest University if they want to study Guidance and counselling at distance.
The PhD in Guidance and counselling can be obtained within Psychology or Educational Sciences Doctoral Schools in the biggest Romanian public universities (Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, Iasi).

Accreditation and supervision is available only for psychology graduates. (www.copsi.ro, 2004). Another accreditation opportunity is offered by the NBCC Romania (www.nbcc.ro, 2005): individuals working in a variety of career consulting settings may apply for the Global Career Development Facilitator GCDF certificate. Both accreditation schemes are related to initial and continuous education.
