Sree Chithra International Foundation is organizing Gramotsav 2012 in Haripad,Alappuzha (Constituency of respected President of K.P.C.C. Shri. Ramesh Chennithala)The event will be held from 28 th to 29 th September 2012 at Bhuvi Convention Centre to be featured with a wide variety of sessions that are related to one\'s specific areas of interest.Sree Chithra International Foundation was formed with the objective to provide selfless service in socio cultural domains, inspired by Late Padmanabha Dasa Sree Chithira Thirunal Bala Rama Varma, the former Maharaja of Travancore.Sree Chithra International Foundation has been working for upliftment of the poor and down-trodden people especially women and children in rural areas.It is involved in Child Care and education, literacy for illiterates, Water for poor communities, Health Care interventions, HIV/AIDS awareness, Capacity building initiatives, Women empowerment, Relief at the times of Natural calamities.Lectures and seminars on career guidance ,women’s empowerment, Indian democracy, job fair and youth will be organized in association with government departments and other leading institutes. These apart, painting contests will be conducted for school and college students.Seminar on ‘Sthree Suraksha’ will discuss various aspects of women empowerment, legal rights for women protection and to safeguard women.A Job Fair presented by Gramotsav is a unique model where rural jobseekers can meet, interact and interview with several top employers under one roof that serves as a dual advantage.Sree Chithra International Foundation has decided to distribute wheelchairs for disabled people in different areas.For the disabled, mobility is the key to independence, education, and self-reliance. A person given the gift of mobility is freer to travel& work.Ministers, Heads of department, dignitaries, will attend the different seminar sessions.
