Go to Google
Press the blue “Sign-in” button in the top right corner.
Enter User name: [email protected] ([email protected])Enter Password: mmdd19yy of your birthdate (for example: 01021999)
Accept the Google Account User Agreement (blue button at the bottom). You will only do this on your first login.
Next to your ID in the upper right corner, click on the tiny square for apps...
Click “Drive” from the apps...
Click the “Settings” drop down arrow (upper right)
Drop Down to UPLOAD SETTINGS and check the first line (click it): Convert uploaded files...
Click the orange “Create” button. Then, click the blue “Document” button.
Go to “File,” and select “Rename” in the drop down menu.
Rename document (in this example I typed in “slavery”)
Click the blue “Share” button.
Invite your team mates to the writing party in the “invite” window.
Enter [email protected] by a semicolon.Then add everyone in your group, separated by semicolons.
Congratulations!
You are ready to type! And as an added bonus, everyone logged into the same document can type at the same time!
