Getting References from the Catalogue

Login to Refworks Go to Search > Online Catalogue or Database

Choosing the Catalogue

• In the pull-down menu next to “Search,” University of Calgary is second in the list after PubMed

• Select to search in UofC catalogue

Quick Search

A quick search uses a keyword to search the catalogue

Choose your query and click search

Advanced Search

You can also click “Advanced Search” to search for specific authors, titles, etc.

Click the green plus sign to add fields to your search (such as titles, descriptors, publication year, etc.)

Click Search

Importing

Once you search, your results will be listed

Select reference by clicking in box

Click import when ready

References will import automatically

You can also select the folder you want your reference(s) to go in to
