    BCL series refers to a multi-stage, vertically split, barrel type centrifugal compressor,available for medium and high pressure purpose. The compression can be made in a single stage, two stages or multi stages in one compressing casing , the maximum working pressure can reach up to 70 MPa . There might be 2-10 impellers in one case.It can be designed with gas extraction or gas injection, and be supplied as a train with multi casings (same as MCL series). This series centrifugal compressor is mainly used for various medium and high pressure industrial plants and classified as,BCL,2BCL and 3BCL .

    II- BCL series centrifugal compressor features that the inlet and outlet nozzles are on the casing and impellers are arranged in the same direction.

    11- 2BCL series centrifugal compressor characterizes that the compression is made in two sections and the impellers are

    . back to back arranged . Generally two types of this series are available,one is equipped with an intermediate exhaust nozzle on the casing and an inter- stage cooler: the other is equipped with a circulation stage, which is formed as an independent section .

    11- 3BCL series centrifugal compressor is classified into three types, one is designed with gas extraction and gas injection nozzles on the casing, the second one features that the compression is made in three sections with two inter-stage coolers: the third one characterizes that the compression is made in three sections, with a circulation stage and an inter-stage cooler .

    Carbon ring seal is nonnaLly used with medium and low pressure compressor .The carbon

    seal is made up of several segments, which are fastened at its outer circumference with

    spring. The number of carbon seals mounted in the seal. body is determined upon

    pressure. With help of shaped grooves on the inner circumference and ends of carbon

    rings, a gas film may be formed between the carbon rings and rotating shaft during

    operation, which may reduce the leakage and achieve optimum sealing effcet.

    Journal bearing shall be of elliptical shoe or Wting

    pad type. The Wting pad bearing is often consisting

    of 5 babbitted segments, used for restricting

    resonance and keeping running rotor in its axial

    position . Each pad is embedded with a temperature

    sensor for monitoring bearing temperature at times.

    Self-leveling, bi-direction thrust bearing will assure

    the rotor in its correct position . The pads of thrust

    bearing are also fitted with temperature sensors .
