• Established in 2002 to take local ownership and decision-making of certain federal harbour properties and infrastructure

• Directly accountable to 8 Member Agencies that:• established GVHA’s constitution• approve its bylaws• nominate directors to the Board

• Grown from a 2002 start-up to successfully operating harbour facilities and actively promoting a working harbour
