Greetings Folks,

Here it is March already and this may be my last letter for the bulletin as the Administrator. I hope I did a satisfactory job for our Lodge and its members. This has been an eye opening experience to say the least.

The Election Committee should be meeting in the next few weeks to determine who your next candidates are for the Board of Officers. I'm sure they will do a good job for everyone involved. I hope we all have a safe and prosperous year.

In closing, I would like to remind everyone this isn't a local bar. This is a fraternal organization where members come and gather to get away from the “local bar” atmosphere. Remember, you have to be a member to be here, and act like a member to stay here.

Once in a while just walk around the hall and look at the photos on the wall. These are members who came before us and worked hard (some still are) to get us where we are today. Look at the pictures of the places we support: Mooseheart and Moosehaven. Don't forget the support we have given to our local community. This takes a lot more work than sitting in the Social Quarters.

Be proud of this place but most of all be proud that you are a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

From Our Junior Regent

Happy Get Lucky Month,

I want to thank everyone who helped out in February. Our Valentine's dinner was amazing and our Chairman dinner was delicious. The WOTM know how to put on a feast.

We have a few events this month for you to enjoy. There is a Facebook event set up in our group to help send reminders to you. If you are not on Facebook, stop by the Lodge to see the flyers, as most of the events will have details. Or better yet, read your Moose Newsletter, front to back. You might be surprised by some of the info you might acquire.

We are still looking for co-workers to step up and volunteer to be a Chairman or Board Member for the ensuing year, May 1, 2018 – April 30, 2019. Want to see some changes? Get involved and join in the operation of our Chapter.

This month our annual St. Patrick's Day Party is on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday at 6 PM. Also we will have a Kids Easter Egg Dying Night on Thursday, March 29th from 6 – 8 PM. Fun for the whole family. In addition, here is something new and exciting... on March 11th there will be a “March Madness Vendor Fair." Local business owners will be here for you to check out. There are nine vendors in all to look at: Premier Designs by Esperanza Sotelo, Damsel in Defense, Bookkeeping Services, and Pure Romance, just to name a few.
