Should a Sequel be made?There has been a lot of debate on if a sequel should be commissioned for the Friday the 13th remake.We will be looking at different financial aspects of the Friday the 13th series.We will also look at the financials of other horror movie remakes and their sequels.By the end of this presentation we should be able to answer this question.

SummaryEvery Friday the 13th film released was profitable after its initial US theatrical run.Of the horror remakes and sequels viewed, they have all had profitable runs.Even considering the drop the sequels had from the remake, they were all turning a profit.Based on the results I have been able to find, I feel it would be warranted for the film studio to commission another Friday the 13th film!
