Executive summaryResults of a controlled experiment on the role of trainee in the consumer choice process showed that market development was a dominant choice heuristic among awareness- group subjects. Subjects with no security equipments awareness tended to sample more brands and selected the high-quality brand on the final choice significantly more often than those with locals. Thus, when quality differences exist among competing brands, consumers may "pay a price" for employing simple choice heuristics such as brand awareness in the interest of economizing time and effort. However, building business is a viable strategy for advertising aimed at increasing brand-choice probabilities.Business can be developed by showing a consumer the brand and asking whether or not they knew of it beforehand. However, in common market research practice a variety of recognition and recall measures of brand awareness are employed all of which test the brand name's association to a product category cue, this came about because most market research in the 20th Century was conducted by post or telephone, actually showing the brand to consumers usually required more expensive face-to-face interviews (until web-based interviews became possible). This has led many textbooks to conceptualize business ways simply as its measures, that is, knowledge that the brand is a member of a particular product category. Market development consists of both brand recognition, which is the ability of consumers to confirm that they have previously been exposed to your brand, and brand recall, which reflects the ability of consumers to name your brand when given the product category, category need, or some other similar cue.

PREFACEInternship was a stepping step in practical life, through which I learnt a lot and it has aided me in being well equipped with valuable experience that would help me once I enter the professional life almost after the completion of my studies. I worked in Foresight Server & Safety Systems Pvt. Ltd as a Trainee Marketing Associate. My association with this company was being a part of the Information Technology Industry. It was a great experience for me and it helped me in realizing where my potential lies. What I learnt over the weeks was how to get along with the people that I have to work with everyday, building relationships with people, building confidence and improving my communication skills.This internship has also prepared me for my future career in Information Technology so this internship has helped me a great deal. The IT infrastructure in financial services serves as technology leverage, as the Atlantic Council puts it creating tremendous efficiencies but with increasing risk. The destruction of financial data or the disruption of markets would have a rippling effect on other domestic sectors and industries, as well as global markets. In that light, President Mukherji has expressed that the cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation and that India's economic prosperity in the 21st century will depend on security.

Portable fire extinguisher is useful for Class A, B and C fires. These units can be used on wood, paper, cloth, trash, flammable liquids and energized electrical equipment. The dry chemical in the units is mono ammonium phosphate. The powder chemical works differently to extinguish the various fires. Risk management

The Company has a system for assessing and monitoring its potential business and financial risks. The components of this risk management system are designed to help enable us to anticipate risks and to manage them carefully in the pursuit of our business goals. The principles, guidelines, processes and responsibilities of our internal control system have been defined and established to help ensure prompt and accurate accounting of all business transactions and to continuously provide reliable information about the Companys financial position for internal and external use.

However, the components of the internal control and risk management system do not eliminate risk entirely and, thus, cannot prevent loss or fraud in all cases. We intend to rapidly adjust the risk management and monitoring procedures of all businesses acquired during the fiscal year, so that they conform to Foresight standards.

Heads of Corporate Department are responsible for supporting the Corporate Management Division/Business and Business Units in their respective areas of activities and in the implementation of Companys policies, objectives and procedures throughout the organization. They also assume the responsibility of quality in their respective areas of activity.Business Conduct Guidelines and Code of Ethics

Foresight is committed to conducting its business responsibly and in compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. The Managing Board has established firm guidelines to help ensure that this goal is achieved. The Business Conduct Guidelines comprise rules regarding compliance with applicable laws, conflicts of interest, the use of Company assets and facilities, and insider trading.

These rules are binding for all Foresight employees, the Managing Board and the Supervisory Board. The Guidelines also specify procedures for dealing with complaints. A compliance officer, who reports to the Audit Committee, processes all complaints, including those submitted anonymously. In accordance with the requirements of the SOA, procedures for handling potential complaints related to accounting practices, and procedures for handling relevant complaints from specific attorneys (internal and external) have been implemented during fiscal 2004. In addition, the Managing Board and the Supervisory Board have implemented a Code of Ethics for Financial Matters, as required by the SOA rules. Our success depends on the success of our customers. I would like to make recommendations to Foresight Server & Safety Systems Pvt.Ltd for their better improvement.

A better coordination should be developed between the top management and lower level employees.

Pay scale for lower level employees should increase as compare to competitors.

Proper training should be given to employees.

Employees satisfaction level should increase by appraising them at the spot and by giving them different incentives like bonuses etc.

The FST already has better schemes for buyers. But there is a need to launch some more and attractive schemes for the people in order to facilitate them.

There is a need for continuous advertisement to aware the people about the company in order to attract the customers towards it.

The reception/counter of the company is considered as the alpha and omega of industrial business. Customer satisfied with the counter service proves an asset to the organization. Therefore, utmost care should be taken while dealing with the customers at the counter. The staff at the counter must be highly skilled and trained according to the changing trends of the world. Conclusion

The internship completed at Marketing Department of FORSIGHT was a great experience for me. I have gained a lot of knowledge, practice and opportunities from this internship. It has given me practical experience to apply all the theory I have learnt through my academics. It was my first experience in the professional world and I learnt a lot both on personal and professional basis.

The internship made it clear that I have all the capabilities in me to excel in my career, the positive remarks which were given to me by my supervisor are the result of the efforts that were put in. It gave me a lot of confidence and increased my moral. I thank Foresight Server for giving me this opportunity.Further, I also concluded that 100 percent concentration, full care, analytical, descriptive and communication skills are the key prerequisites for working in an industry. Anyhow, precisely speaking this internship of two months is memorable period for me during which I availed the opportunity to flourish my communication skills, polish my capabilities and abilities, upgrade my knowledge about industrial sector and broaden my vision and exposure towards practical life.
