The Miami mine, a major copper producer in the Globe-Miami mining area is one of America’s premier copper mining districts. The new structures being constructed in the Miami operations at Arizona area are the part of project extension of the old operating mines. In this Mining Project (Miami Operations), we worked with several types of Structures like: A. Conveyor Structures including Drilled Piers, Tunnels with Guide Rail System, Transfer Towers, External & Internal Pillars/Piers B. Stockpile Buildings including Large Foundation Mats & Foundation Walls C. Truck Unloading Buildings & Rail Unloading Buildings for the quick & easy mode of transportation of raw materials. 2. We maintained co-ordination between Structure & Rebar for clash free shop drawing creation. 3. Checked conveyor post elevation for maintaining the slope of converyor for ease of transport of material. 4. Our Co-ordinated drawings helped the iron worker to place the rebar easily. Rebar 3D model Creation 2. Shop Drawings/Placing Drawings Preparation from clash free Rebar Model 3. Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule as per Structure & Releasing of Bar list as per bid items Scope of Work 5-D Mining & Construction Inc. Solution - We progressed the work with logical assumption & raised RFIs to client quickly for maintaing the smooth delivery schedule. Challenge - 2 - Existence of Clashes - During model creation we found clashes between structures, placed in wrong position at design stage. Solution - We suggested solution to client for confirmation by raising RFIs and thus executed Rebar Model & Shop drawings, ensuring clash free installation. 1. Completed Bar Bending Scheduling, helping the project to run on schedule, ensuring communication of accurate information across workers 2. Converted Completed BBS into excel format for ease of use 3.
