Final Website: Country of your choice Assignment: Create an informative website about a country of your choice. To get information about a country to go to: www.cia.gov/library/publication/The World Factbook. You may choose to create the site using Dreamweaver or using only HTML coding in Notepad. Use design principles: BURP, to make your page look good. 1. Fill out a storyboard including the following: a. Create at least 4 web pages that link to each other. Ideas for pages may include: i. History ii. Government & Laws iii. Economy iv. Culture v. Demographics vi. Geography b. Insert a table for every page to help align objects. c. Either an unordered list or ordered list d. At least 5 images, with alt tags e. Change the background color or image f. At least one page anchor g. At least one hyperlink citing your source h. Change the title of all of your pages. i. A horizontal rule j. At least three items centered k. Add emphasis to text using either heading tags or other tags (I, B, strong, etc.) Take the time to make your website reflect your best work. We will be sharing our websites in class on the final day of class.

Final Website: Country of your choice

Assignment: Create an informative website about a country of your choice. To get information about a country to go to: www.cia.gov/library/publication/The World Factbook. Site setup

1. Open Dreamweaver. Select Dreamweaver Site on the menu bar underneath Create New column.

2. Select the Advanced Tab. Key in the name of your site.3. Use the Browse button to select your folder in the Local root Folder box. Choose your folder

for the Default Images Folder box. Select OK. Select Done. 4. On the side of the Files panel, click on the site, New File. Key in index.html. (Make sure you add

the html). Repeat the new file creation for your other three sites.
