Yet how difficult it is to fulfill, being neighbor to whomever is in need. But if we seek God, we must “go and do the same”, for we h ave been created in, for, and through Christ. Benedict Redito from the Philippines will speak to us about the mission needs of the Diocese of Legazpi, 300 miles southeast of Manila., the capital of the country. The diocese seeks our help especially on its newest ministry, the “House of Hope” – a Community Drug Rehabilitation Program that is borne out of the Philippine President’s “War on Drug Program”. “Happy Anniversary” to Gladys and Robert Rice who celebrated their 57 th wedding anniversary on July 7 th !
