Overview/Rationale for Program: This section should be a maximum 500 words in length.Include items such as:

Details of stakeholder, industry or other consultation that identifies and supports the development of this program

The broad structure of the program Staff involved in preparing this proposal.

Need & Demand: This section should be 500-1000 words in length to expand on the Overview/Rationale with respect to the identified Need/Demand. To be prepared in consultation with Planning Quality and Review regarding demand estimates.

This section should include items such as: A summary of expected demand in terms of student numbers and load. Letters of support from professional bodies and employer associations Lower level qualifications that may be ‘feeders’ for the program

Competition: Identify any existing providers of the program or any programs that may compete with this program.

Financial Sustainability/Viability/Project Analysis: Include a summary budget of expected revenue and expenditure for start year and two subsequent years based on demand estimates. To be prepared in consultation with the Finance Department.
