The 2 inputs will support any of the following combinations: iPod/Auxiliary, iPod/HD Radio (HD Radio sold separately) or Auxiliary/HD Radio (HD Radio sold separately). The optional HD Radio tuner is part number uPAC-HDRT. The iPod input can be used as full control from the radio or full control from the iPod. If a factory SAT tuner or DVD video system is present, it will continue to operate as well. Please visit www.pac-audio.com for a complete list of supported vehicles. Configuring the uPAC-GM11b (iPod and Auxiliary Input as devices): All of the dipswitches need to remain OFF for this application. The iPod cable should be connected to Device 1. The Auxiliary Input cable should be connected to Device 2. If both the 3.5mm cable and RCA connections are used make sure to only have one of the 2 sources powered at a time. Connecting to the vehicle: Locate the 24-pin and 12-pin male connectors on the uPAC harness, plug these connectors into the back of the radio. Plug the Black micro-fit 24-pin connector on the uPAC harness into the uPAC-11b. Before connecting the vehicle’s harness to the uPAC harness, locate the Pink and Pink/Black wires on this harness. The male and female 24-Pin connectors each have a Pink and Pink/Black wire on them. There are also Pink and Pink/Black wires run outside of the main bundle of wires on the 24-pin micro fit harness. One of these wires will need to pass from the Factory wiring harness, through the media gateway, to the factory radio. The other will need to be disconnected (this disconnected wire must NOT pass through from the vehicle to the radio). -- For Malibu and Malibu Maxx connect the solid Pink wires on the male and female 24-Pin connectors to the long Pink and Pink/Black wires run outside the main bundle of wires on the uPAC harness. -- For Cobalt and G6 connect the Pink/Black wires on the male and female 24-Pin connectors to the long Pink and Pink/Black wires run outside the main bundle of wires on the uPAC harness. Plug the vehicle’s 24-pin and 12-pin male connectors from the vehicle’s wiring harness into the uPAC connectors. Note: If the optional HD Radio Tuner is used, refer to the uPAC-HDRT’s connection manual for configuration and operation instructions. The USB connection has no function at this time. 10-09-2008 Pacific Accessory Corporation - 1502 S.
