“My days with Mckayla are heavenly and happy! Her energy and vibrancy remind me that God blesses children with a special gift of innocence and she in turn blesses me. “Alison’s Pantry’s Pizza & Bread Stick Dough Mix (#5873) is an essential part of my pantry. When my daughter’s friends are over, they love to make their own pizzas including a fruit pizza! Simply add 1/4 cup sugar to the dough when mixing. Bake as usual. After the crust has cooled combine 16 ounces of cream cheese with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and spread all over. The girls dice up any frozen fruit from my freezer (gotta love Dole and Wyman’s!), sprinkle over and drizzle some powdered sugar glaze for a finishing touch! Mom and Dad even get a piece now and then! This makes a 16" pizza easily cut into 8 pieces! P.S. “It never occurred to me until I moved to rural western Nebraska that Buttermilk was not a grocery store staple. How do people survive! By using Buttermilk Powder (#1105). Cheesy Chicken Hash Brown CasseroleHere’s a quick and easy dinner casserole my family loves! 1 bag Shredded Hash Browns (#5024)1 cup Chicken TVP (#1115)2 cups low sodium chicken broth1 cup golden flaxseed (#1117)2 cups shredded Mexican Cheddar cheeseAdd diced veggies to suit… green peppers, carrots, mushrooms, corn or peas, this a great left-over user-upper! Or add veggies from your dehydrated stash! Add 1/4 - 1/2 cup more broth or water to compensate for the dehydrated versions. Toss the whole thing in a casserole dish and bake at 375°F for 40-45 min. Shake some Salad sprinkles (#1701) over the top before serving.

Salt3/4 cup Shortening3 Tbsp Buttermilk powder (#1105)3/4 cup waterKnead ingredients together and let rest 20 min. Flatten out and cut with a biscuit cutter or a glass. Bake for 10-12 min. at 450 degrees. Makes a dozen. Use this as a basic recipe. You can add all sorts of additional cheeses, veggies or fruits. If you use a whole grain flour, add a bit more water. I like to add shredded cheddar and dehydrated jalapenos!
