Live Video Guidelines

1. Intro – Who are you, Why should they Listen to You/ your topic.

2. Set intent – manage expectations – Let people know why you are live. (What you are there for?)

3. Deliver Value i.e. Inform – Don’t get all salesy, or advertise stuff. Stay on The intent aka topic above.

4. Call to Action; ALWAYS – Recommend, click link below/above video, add link to Comments, Like this video, share this vide, lets chat in box me, fill out my survey, give away stuff i.e. contest etc.

I am gonna break it down how I do the above in a moment…

• Success is 90% Preparation so – Be Prepared Cue Notes, Topic, Research! Don't wing it!

• INTRO - Start Talking soon as you are live…Don’t worry about AUDIENCE. Most of

your views will come from Replay – Now’s the time to share your live to your

Page/profile, couple of groups, invite friends…Encourage & incentivise your Viewers

to SHARE too so you get more shares While Live.

• INTRODUCE YOURSELF & TOPIC/SUBJECT – VIA A Question – peaks curiosity!

• DELIVER THE VALUE - based on topic and your notes. EDUCATE, ENTERTAIN,

INSPIRE/EMPOWER. Tell Your/a Story.

• 10X Your energy – Be you x 2

• ALWAYS GIVE A CALL TO ACTION – CTA. (Best midway the Show & end of Show) Point to a

Resource, Recommend a course of action, e.g. invite to your inbox etc.

• CLOSE SHOW - OUTTRO: Again CTA, Invite Questions, invite to Follow, encourage them to

Share, Comment, Like, subscribe etc. Tel them when next show will be: Day/Time and Topic…

• THANK YOUR AUDIENCE over and over. NAME A FEW

Bummed you out – weave in your story, a lesson learnt, benefit there of and how it
