The Price Board Notification No. 329 of June, 1948(concerning the designation of the controlled selling pricesfor charcoal and firewood) and the Price Board Noti-fication No. 498 of July, 1948 (concerning the designa-tion of the controlled selling prices for holed briquette,small briquette, soft coal small briquette and charcoalball) shall be partially revised as follows :

"The additional amounts to be made when retailers

sell ex their store to consumers shall be the amountsdeducted by the amount equivalent to 25 per cent of thedifference between the retailer's additional amount andthe wholesaler's additional amount from the abovemen-tioned retailer's additional amounts; provided that, incase the Director of each Local Price Bureau "designatesany specific amounts within the limits of the additionalamounts calcu lated as abovementioned, those amountsshall be added thereto''.

Next to the controlled prices of 1 in IV of the PriceBoard Notification No. 498, the following paragraphshall be added:

"The consrolled prices in case retailers sell ex theirstore to consumers shall be the amounts deducted by theamount equivalent to 25 per cent of the difference bet-ween the retailer's controlled selling price and the whole-saler's controlled selling price from the controlled sellingprices of retailer; provided that, "In case the Director ofeach Local Price Bureau designates any specific amountswithin the limits of abovementioned controlled prices,those amounts shall be applied thereto".

In accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Price Control, Ordinance, the controlled |selling pricesof Japanese wrestling loin cloth are designated as follows, and the Ministry of Finance Notification No. 496 ofJune, 1946 (concerning the designation of the controlled prices of.Japanese wrestling loin cloth for sport) shall

1. The controlled selling prices of Japanese wrestling loin cloth shall be amounts calculated by the following

calculation standard and calculation requisites :(1) Calculation standard

Controlled selling prices of producer and dealerCost of production={ (quantity of cloth used xunit price) -J-cost of accessories } x (1+0.05 for loss)

+processing chargeControlled selling prices of producer and dealer=Cost of production X 1.20

(2) Calculation requisitesa. The unit price of cloth used shall be subject to the controlled selling prices of wholesaler, or unit price of*thee' xceptionally approved pricej (except additional amount is accordance with the provisions of Price Board

Notification No. 781 of August, 1948. Same hereinafter). However, in case a cloth with an indication ofdefects is used, the unit price shall be amounts added by its discounted amount (except additional amountin accordance with the provisions of Price Board Notification No. 781 of August, 1948 regarding pur-chasing prices).

b. Lops shall be 5 per cent of the total of the cost of cloth and the cost of accessories.c. Further, Z% shall be added for loss of cloth in the preceding paragraph for loss in product, in case cloth

purchased from Sangyo Fukko Kodan is used, (concluding designated products which were bought throughwholesaler for registered materials)

d. Cost of accessories shall be amount obtained by multiplying quantity required to the controlled sellingprices of wholesaler or exceptinally approved prices for materials used (except additional amount inaccordance with the provisions of Price Board Notification No. 781 of August, 1948).

e. Processing charges shall be the total of the sewing charges and the cutting charges, and shall be subjectto the amounts obtained by multiplying 7.8 sen per inch of a fnished size.

Example:Of Japanese wrestling coin cloth calculated in accordance with the abovementioned calculation

standard and caluculation requisisites, an example of controlled selling price of Japanese wrestling loincloth for a coacher shall be as follows:

Even the prices calculated in accordance with the calculation standard and the caluculation requisites, in casethe Price Assessing Committee in metropolis, district, urban and lural prefectures assessed the price within thelimits of the controlled selling prices in accordance with standard determined by Director-General of PriceBoard, the prices shall be applied to.

In case fractions of sen unit occur in calculating these controlled prices, adjustment shall be made in sen unit,accounting fractions over 5 sen as one unit, but disregarding the rest, and the calculation shall be made in 10
