MEET OUR STAFF

Denis Payton – Denis and lovely wife Robyn, own BIG4 Bright. They have three wonderful children adopted from Haiti and have two equally wonderful grandchildren. Denis grew up in Melbourne, studied in W.A. and moved to Bright in 1978 to teach at the Bright P-12 College. During his time as a teacher, he participated in a teaching exchange program with a teacher from Prince Edward Island in Canada for one year. Denis left teaching in 1994 to join the staff at Automotive Training Australia and worked to develop

a training program for the automotive Industry in Melbourne. Denis and Robyn purchased the Alpine Cabins Holiday Park in 2004 which was part of the BIG4 chain. Since their ownership of the Park, the Park has gone from strength to strength offering high quality cabins, centrally located in a beautiful quiet landscaped setting. The park is now known as BIG4 Bright.

Denis has another passion for football and unfortunately is a keen Essendon supporter. Fortunately, he has a soft spot for Collingwood. He also holds a private pilot’s licence and has enjoyed many wonderful travel experiences throughout his flying career. Denis also has a strong interest in Haiti. He and his wife Robyn provide ongoing support to their extended family in Haiti. Just ask him how you build a house in Haiti - the answer is slowly.

Denis is an active Member of the BIG4 Board and attends meetings in Melbourne on a regular basis. He strives to provide the best representation for BIG4 park owners and for guests staying at BIG4 parks.

Denis has put his heart and soul into BIG4 Bright. His innovative ideas and determination to provide the best holiday experience possible for our guests at BIG4 Bright are a credit to him.
