Establishing Teq Online PD™ with Clever or ClassLink Setting Up Single Sign-On with Clever Teq Online PD™ (Teq OPD) is now an application that will allow for single sign-on through Clever. This way, teachers can sign on through their Clever portal or from any device through the Clever log-in found on Teq’s log-in screen. Adding Teq OPD App to Clever Once you are logged in to your Clever Dashboard, select “Applications” then “Add Applications” from the left-hand side. Using the search bar, type “Teq” and the application will be shown below. Once Teq’s icon is shown, select “Request App”.

After requesting the app, you will be brought to a new page to authorize requesting applications. Here it will ask whether your school has already purchased the app. First choose “Already Purchased” then “Request”.

Linking Clever with Teq Online PDTM: In order for your teachers to be able to use the single sign-on feature through Clever, first send your Professional Development Specialist the list of usernames and e-mails. Any updates you need to make to your registered users should also be completed through your designated PD Specialist.

Creating Active Rostering Through ClassLink Now with the help of ClassLink, you no longer need to provide a CSV file to register staff accounts on Teq Online PDTM. By using the ClassLink option found on the Teq Online PDTM Admin Dashboard you can manage your roster directly. Managing ClassLink Dashboard: Before importing your roster through the Admin Dashboard, it is important to add Teq Online PDTM to your Applications on ClassLink. To do so, log into ClassLink and choose “Applications” from your Dashboard menu found on the left-hand side.

If Teq Online PDTM is not listed, you must search and add the application by choosing the blue

“ADD APPLICATIONS” link on the top right. Then select the symbol found to the right of Teq Online PDTM.

Once Teq Online PDTM is shown in your Applications list, select the three dots under Actions. From the drop down menu, select API Key and Secret. Record and keep these credentials for later use.

Next, we will need to identify the school domain. This can be found by selecting Settings on the left-hand side of your Dashboard. Record and keep the domain for later use.

Linking ClassLink with Teq Online PDTM: From the Admin Dashboard found on Teq Online PDTM, select the ClassLink option. Here you will be prompted to add and save the credentials and domain we acquired earlier.

Once the information is entered, it will provide your school’s license information as well as indicate the number of licenses available. From this view, you can upload a new roster by choosing the orange Import Roster link found on the right-hand side. This will add new users and deactivate any users who were removed from your roster.
