• Almost 1,000 attendees at our informational meeting
• 378 student applied for a scholarship

• What is the TSI?
• Exam for College Readiness• Must meet criteria to enroll in collegiate courses• Used to determine readiness for college-level course work• TSI is offered for Reading, Writing, and Mathematics

• Must complete at least 6 hours of Face-to-Face instruction• Must complete at least 30 hours of SHMOOP online practice • Attempt/Pass the TSI in Reading and Mathematics

• Must complete 12 modules through Face-to-Face instruction• Any student who passes their TSI will be invited to join the
leadership camp modules

WHAT IS UTEP PREP? ¿QUÉ ES UTEP PREP?
UTEP Prep is an opportunity for high school graduates to jump start their post-secondary education utilizing FAFSA summer funds from the 2017-2018 application to pay for up to two classes that will count towards your degree plan or two classes to help you to get college ready for fall 2018. It will also cover books and parking.
UTEP Prep es una oportunidad para que los graduados de la preparatoria comiencen su educación universitaria utilizando los fondos de FAFSA del año anterior, 2017-2018 para cubrir el costo de dos clases que contarán su plan de estudios. Tambien cubrirá libros y estacionamiento.
WHY SHOULD I ENROLL IN UTEP PREP?¿POR QUÉ DEBERÍA INSCRIBIRME EN UTEP PREP?
UTEP Prep will help you get a head start on college.
You will earn up to six credit hours at UTEP before the fall semester.
You will begin to build relationships with professors, administrators, staff and peer mentors.
You will learn about university life and campus resources.
You will build and be part of a community with other UTEP Prep students.
UTEP Prep te ayudará a comenzar una carrera en la universidad.
Ganarás hasta seis horas de crédito en UTEP antes del semestre de otoño.
Comenzarás a relazionarte con profesores, administradroes , el personal y mentores.

Qualified students may receive two classes at little or no cost with their 2017-2018 FAFSA.
Includes books and parking.
Lunch is not included. Bring your lunch or purchase from several locations on campus.

UTEP has computer labs with internet that you can use, and high schools and public libraries also have internet.

Unfortunately, missing classes for other obligations will invalidate your participation for the program.
Students must commit to attending the orientation and the full six weeks of UTEP PREP
