Hello, I’m Sophie. I live with my mum, my dad and my sister, Helen. I have

lots of friends, but Suzie is my best friend. We both live in Oxford and go to

the same school. Usually, we do everything together. We sometimes watch

films, we sometimes go horse riding and we sometimes play tennis. Last

weekend, we went to the zoo. We saw elephants and crocodiles. It was good.

Yesterday was Suzie’s birthday and she had a party in her house. Her friends came to the

party. They said ‘Happy Birthday’ and gave her presents. She had DVDs, books and sweets. I

gave her some earrings. She loved them. Then we had pizza, crisps and chocolate. Then we

had cakes. After all that, I had a stomach ache! Then we listened to music and danced. It

was fun. When I got home, I watched a DVD with my mum and dad and had some more

food!
