Ability to work accurately and demonstrate a thorough approach to providing a high standard of customer service will be essential. The post will be based in the Kendal offices.
Housing Strategy OfficerPermanent - 37 hours per weekSalary £18,376 to £21,530 per annumThis is a new post within the Council’s Housing Strategy and Delivery team.
The post-holder is responsible for contributing towards the production and implementation of Housing Strategy policies and the Council’s Homelessness Strategy, Older Persons’ Housing Strategy and Tenancy Strategy, together with research into housing needs when required.
We are looking for a suitably-qualified and motivated individual (preferably with experience of strategic housing issues relevant to local authorities). Applicants should have good communication skills, be able to work effectively with others, be able to identify improvements, contributing to the development of policies and strategies, be able to operate unsupervised and work to deadlines and be able to use information technology.
