SEASONAL CHANGES
Ever After is magical all year round, and we tailor our elopement weddings to the season you choose.
Autumn October to Early November
A wonderful time of year where summer is leaving but winter hasn’t
yet arrived. Picture orange leaves on the trees amongst the last of the
garden flowers, and miniature pumpkins as decor, paired with warming
tones of the flickering tea-lights.
Think yellows, oranges, deep reds, mixed with a touch of foliage...
And perhaps a feather bolero for when the temperature drops.
As the sun starts to set, enjoy your cheeseboard by the fire with
a basket of blankets in arms reach, and a glass of wine in hand.

Winter Mid-November to Late February
The magic starts to happen as Christmas draws closer. The leaves
have gone, creating a winter-wonderland of woodland scenes amongst
evergreen trees. Get married in front of the open fire under the glass roof.
We drape sheepskin rugs on ceremony seating and provide hot water bottles.
In December there’s always a Christmas tree (or two!) around to bring that
Christmassy feel. Make sure you and any guests wrap up warm. We provide
a roaring fire and heaters but bring your best winter coats to be on the safe
side so you can get some great wedding photos outdoors in the gardens
Why not enjoy a glass of mulled wine before the ceremony? And as the
night draws in, snuggle up together on the sofa in our cosy blankets in
front of the fire.

Early Spring March to April
With the promise of warmer weather approaching, spring bulbs
are blooming. The daffodils are out and the camellias and early tulips
are adding to the feel of spring on its way.
Early spring at Ever After is a beautiful time to elope. Fewer sheepskin
rugs and hot water bottles, more sunshine and flowers. And with warmer
temperatures, you might get married in the wedding barn and have
champagne and canapes in the garden before heading into the
terrace to eat.
