II. NARRATIVE REPORT/ EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The 3rd National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill for CY 2019 was scheduled to be

conducted August 8, 2019. Unfortunately it is the same day of the first quarter examinations

of the pupils and teachers within the Division of La Carlota City were assigned to conduct

to other schools within the division. As per instruction of our school head, we conducted

our earthquake drill on August 9, 2019, a day after the said examination.

The significance of conducting and earthquake drill by quarter is to instill among us the

readiness and alertness should an earthquake occur while we are in school. It is an

announced earthquake drill so the pupils are already aware of the time. Teachers and

teacher advisers were advised to have a re-orientation in their respective classrooms prior

to the conduct of the earthquake drill last August 9, 2019.

The earthquake drill was conducted on the premises of Balabag Elementary School.

The drill was participated by the teachers present on that day as well as the pupils.
