PUBLIC NOTICEPROPOSAL TO NAME PUBLIC RESERVE AT LAURIETON
Notice is hereby given that Council is in receipt of a request to allocate a name to a parcel of Crown land situated on the northern side of Tunis Street at Laurieton, between Lord Street and Peach Grove. The requested name is “Rupert Goodear Reserve” in recognition of the long term contribution to the maintenance of the Reserve and to the contribution to the local community by the Late Rupert Goodear.
Comments and submissions on the proposed name are invited before Council formally meets to consider the request to name the Reserve. Comments and submissions on the proposal shall be made in writing and will be received by Council for a period of one month from the date of this notification.

This application is integrated development requiring concurrence under s91 of the Water Management Act 2000 & Fisheries Management Act 1994 s219. The Consent Authority for this proposed development is Port Macquarie-Hastings Council. Application documents can be viewed at our Customer Service Centre, Cnr Lord & Burrawan Streets Port Macquarie up to the closing date for submissions of 19 June 2015.
Submissions. During the advertised period anyone can make a submission about the development application. They must be made by the due date and provided in writing. A submission should include the grounds for the support or objection. Submissions received by Council may be used in Council reports and disclosed to the public under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 and will be treated in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW).
