CHOIR NOTES Jered’s Corner Hello my brothers and sisters in Christ!

I hope that this newsletter finds you

well. There have been some major

changes going on down on Main

Street and I would just like to say

thank you to everyone that has given

of their time and energy to help make

this house of God a little easier on the eyes.

As for the youth at 7th & Main, we are doing pretty good. February was

a busy month for the group but a very exciting one too! Thank you

guys for the support and donations from the V-day lunch, you are to

good to us, and we are glad we could serve you. I know the students are

looking for a little break in the action so we are going to slow down in

March but, we will be starting up our youth bible studies on Sunday

evenings at 5pm on the 7th.

It is a prayer of mine that during this time of our “face lift” we can

build a bond between the members of our church that will be like noth-

ing else this world can offer. We can come together and be the church,

the bride of Christ, love people as Christ loves us! And that starts with

the staff, we are going to work on being the example that we have been

called to be! I just ask that you would pray and seek God’s direction for

7th & Main Baptist Church.

I always look forward to the Easter season. The last Sunday of this month and the first Sunday of April, we will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Palm Sunday, March 28, and then Easter Sunday, April 4, promises to be a great celebration through song and the message. The choir is polishing up our Easter

cantata. We are very excited about this musical, “I Know My Redeemer Lives”, that we will present Easter Sunday Morning, April 4, 2010. The cantata will have visual effects. It is always exciting to hear and watch a musical. We pray it will be a blessing to all on Easter Sunday morning. Please be in prayer that God may richly bless our efforts as we come to worship our Heavenly Father on Sunday mornings. Keep Singing, David Eaton

We’re so excited about being at 7th and Main! I know that my staff position is new for this church, and it’s new to me as well, but I believe that God can use the media and outreach ministries of this church to further His kingdom. We’ve already been talking about several things that we can do to reach more people for Christ…after all, that’s what “outreach” is: reaching out to the lost with the hope of Jesus! I believe that if we’ll be open to anything, old or new, that is effective for reaching lost people, we can see a great harvest. Let’s come together and reach Bonham, Fannin County, and the world for Christ through 7th and Main Baptist Church! -Colby
