Elmwood Park Zoo offers many wonderful opportunities to pay tribute to loved ones or commemorate special occasions. No matter which opportunity you choose, take comfort in knowing your gift will make a significant impact on the Zoo, the animals, and the guests who visit each day.

Giving a Merriment Gift is a thoughtful way to commemorate special occasions. Your gift will be acknowledged with a letter informing the recipient that a donation has been made in their honor. Your generous gift will be used to improve the zoo's facilities and enhance each visitor's experience.

Purchase an engraved brick to be placed among the thousands that adorn the entrance to the Powell Pavilion.

Create a lasting monument to your loved one by purchasing a custom, hand carved bench. For $1,000- $3,500 your bench will include a memorial plaque and can be themed to the animal of your choosing. These eye-catching benches are both beautiful works of art and comfortable resting places for zoo guests!

Pay tribute to a loved one who has passed by giving a gift to Elmwood Park Zoo. The family of the departed will receive information regarding donations. The donor will receive a letter of acknowledgment verifying that the family has been made aware of the donor's generosity.

Each year, dedicated volunteers donate thousands of hours helping across many departments and fulfilling a variety of important roles. The zoo offers a range of positions for individuals who are 14 years or older. Elmwood Park Zoo also provides single service days for groups that want to give back and spend time in a fun and unique environment!

By making a donation to Elmwood Park Zoo, you provide invaluable support for the hundreds of animals in our care, and enable us to further the zoo’s mission to promote wildlife and environmental conservation.
