Heavenly Father:
The good earth beneath our feet feeds us all with Your great bounty. But as we gather here in fellowship, we know there are children in this community and in our world who do not share in this bounty. Help us to bring them to our table and fulfill all their needs.
And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen

Thank you, Jim Lee, for leading our business meeting in place of President Ed Robinson, who was attending the Kiwanis International Convention.
The local club’s administrative year corresponds with the Kiwanis International year. It begins on October 1 of any year and ends on September 30 of the following year. Though officers are elected in April and May, they assume office the following October 1. Formal induction of new officers is arranged as close to October 1 as possible. The outgoing president is responsible for planning the induction ceremony and celebration.
You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you. James Lane Allen
