DISTRICT BOARD & BUDGETTax Rates should be set by September 15th

All nominees should have names submitted to County Judge by October 1st

County Judge should swear in after final appointment

Meet in January to elect new officers

Elected officials cannot serve on District Boards

OPEN RECORDS/OPEN MEETINGS Each county judge should be getting copies of the attached to share with all taxing

districts. Each District Board member will need to complete and sign the “Proof of Receipt” and these

are to be kept in a file at the local Extension Offices. Has to be Received and signed within 60 days.

STATE FAIR SURVEYIn total 1330 agents, support staff and volunteers were a part of the 2016 Kentucky State Fair.

Agents and support staff hours = 8830.5 with a total value to $218,996.40

Volunteer hours = 6832 with a total value of $169,961.92

Expenses incurred while working at Fair = $121,543.89
