QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Why doesn’t “five more minutes” last longer?

SPONSOR OF THE WEEK

“Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances

give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

The opposite of stewardship is self-pity and ingratitude. Stew-ardship is about gratitude, rendering constant thanks, and being aware of how much we've received. With that realization, giving from abundance becomes natural.

O’ ANTIPHONS

Beginning December 17th, we mark a very special time in the Church year known as the “second part of Advent” or “The Golden Nights" featuring the “O Antiphons”. Each night from December 17 - December 23, we ask Christ to come, and call him by a different name The St. Bernard community is proud to continue the ancient yet magnificent tradition of the Great O Antiphons, the seven precious jewels of our Catholic Liturgy, counting down the last seven days before Christmas

with building anticipation.

All are invited to join us beginning on Sunday, December 17th through December 22nd at 7:00 p.m. and on December 23rd at

6:30 p.m.

PARENTING POINTERS

Where does God live? Ask your child. Perhaps

each of you can draw a picture of God's home. Is

God in the sky, in nature, inside you, even in your

enemy? YES. Help your children recognize God

as an omnipresent Holy Spirit who makes everything they see,

hear, and touch sacred. You too!
