Also, thanks to the Youth for the wonderful job decorating. This year everyonewas well behaved!

NEW BUSINESS : A few show trophies were not handed out at the Banquet. These included Senior, Performance and Showmanship.

The reason some trophies were not given was because the riders who wonthese trophies were not LLHA members, and trophies are for members only. It was brought up that if the High Pointwinners were not LLHA members, the trophies should go to the LLHA member who has the highest points. This wasdiscussed and explained that although other clubs follow this rule, LLHA, does not.

For our shows/gymkhanas, any rider, regardless if they are a member or not, can win Hight Point PRIZES for theshow/gymkhanas (ie. Coolers, buckles), and/or fastest time. BUT only MEMBERS are eligible for Year End High point. It

is stated that you MUST be a LLHA member to qualify for High Point. This year, a lot of rewards should have gone topeople but didnt, because they were not members.

Next year, we are in need of a membership drive. We have to look into getting our advertisements into malls, schools(primary and secondary), hotels, etc.. We need a broader spectrum for advertising.

In AQHA, it is allowed to steady the poles in polebending, barrels in barrel racing, and quads in quad stakes. It was askedif we can look into changing our rules to AQHA rules. A concern was made of who would govern this rule.

    Meeting adjourned at 8;40.

50/50 draw was won by Phil, in the amount of $11.50.
