All products are designed and crafted by Joy Bates at her studio in Nottingham, together with the help of a small family-run factory. Joy’s love of pattern and colour always runs through her collections and draws inspiration from vintage fabrics, old knitting patterns and midcentury design.
Seven Gauge Studios maakt opvallende gebreide woonaccessoires, van zachte pure lamswol. Alle producten zijn ontworpen en eigenhandig vervaardigd door Joy Bates in haar studio in Nottingham, met wat hulp van een kleine locale fabriek. The contemporary still lifes of Mariska Meijers are an eclectic mix of object and patterns. Her bold and sassy colour combinations give her paintings a distinctive style. The work of this widely loved artist is applied to a stunning high-quality interior collection.
Mariska Meijers follows her instinct, not theory when painting. She stirs a cocktail of objects, patterns and colours in her thoughts, which she translates straight onto the canvas. Accuracy is rarely attempted. Instead, she interprets the object freely through emphasis on colour and pattern.
The cushions are completely and with care produced in The Netherlands in pure silk and linen. The colours add a fresh and vivid accent to any interior.
