Walking Your DogDog walking is allowed on multi-use paths. The law requires you to pick up after your pet and keep dogs on paved trails and on a maximum 6' length leash.
Dogs are not allowed in parks except: on multi-use paths which pass through parks, when dogs are assistance animals, or in dog parks.

Safe Routes to SchoolJoin your neighbors and walk, bike, skate or scoot your way to class. Follow these Safe Routes to School safety tips.
Pedestrians & Bicylists
• Make yourself visible with brightly colored clothes. Use lights when it’s dark.
• Always walk on sidewalks. If none are available, walk facing tra� c, as far to the left as possible.
• Make eye contact with drivers before crossing the street.
• Bike in the same direction as tra� c
• Wear a properly � tting helmet and perform an “ABC” bike check (air, brakes, and chain).
• Stay alert to your surroundings.
Drivers
• Drive slowly in school zones and neighborhoods
• Watch for pedestrians at all times.
• Yield to pedestrians. They have the right-of-way at any crosswalk or intersection.
• Be cautious when backing up.
• Never use your phone while driving.
